SINGING STUDIO
Beverley has over 15 years of teaching experience. She is trained in the Italian Bel Canto technique and therefore strives to instill a feeling of safety in her students as they learn a secure technique.
She teaches a foundation in singing to younger voices (11 to 16 years of age). She inspires children and teenagers to build confidence and have a healthy emotional outlet. More in depth work is taught slowly to singers aged 17 into adulthood.
With a background in psychology, Beverley provides a confidential and therapeutic space, when needed, to chat and to sing. Lessons are tailored to meet individuals’ needs. Past experience has shown that singing lessons may build self-esteem and confidence, assist in lifting depression or alleviating anxiety.
Lessons are offered face-face and online internationally.
SINGING ENGAGEMENTS
Beverley has sung at events ranging from grand-scale opera, musical theatre and concert work to intimate and special celebrations and memorials. These include Christian weddings and memorials, assisting Rabbis in a cantorial role at Reform Jewish wedding ceremonies as well as singing at non-religious ceremonies. Beverley also performs at corporate events and enjoys doing voice-over work.
